I know, I know. I have been horrible with my blog. In my defence I have done great at keeping my face book updated, mostly. I do want to do better at keeping my blog going, seeing how it is more like a journal then face book is. So hello again.
This summer has been full of fun so far. Here is Nathan and the kids one Sunday morning before church. Nathan is still involved with scouts and will be going to "scout camp" in Colorado soon. He is excited and apprehensive about it. It has been a long time since we have been a part more then two days. I have lots of things planed for the kids while he is gone, and we should have some great pictures when he gets back. I am also interested in how many rocks he decides to hike out.

Here is me and the kids on Mother's day. I would have to say this was the best Mother's day yet. Nathan and the kids spoiled me and I felt very loved and appreciated. I got a "best friends" necklace from each of the kids, and breakfast in bed. I have been spending lots of time getting healthy. I have been having some health problems that no one could answer. after loosing 3o lbs most of them went away. Nathan and I joined the Y.(got to keep him in shape for all the hikes) and we work out 5 times a week. It feels great to set goals and accomplish them. The kids are also learning a lot about healthy eating habits and taking care of their growing bodies.

Owen and Bree graduated from "Playschool" in May. They had a blast being in class together. Owen learned a lot of social skills and to our surprise never hit anyone, even if they pushed him. Owen also knows his birthday, how to spell his name, most of his ABC's basic shapes and colors. (some unique colors) Bree is ready to go to kindergarten! she was accepted into Ella's school and can't wait to start reading. Bree has also found a love for music, singing in particular. She makes up songs and dances around the house all day. Our dinners are full of math facts and spelling bee's. I can not believe how quick kids pick up on things. Owen is already adding simple numbers and Ella is teaching herself to multiply. She says she wants to surprise her new teacher. We have school time most nights before bed and they love it! Ella wants to be a Futbal player also. The world cup has been on a lot in our house! We are hoping to find a league and test her out.

Nathan and Owen went to father's and son's camp out. Nathan's brother and his kids joined in on the fun. They came home tired and hungry and smelling like a camp fire. (I missed out)

Our stake did a Prom. I understand they do it every year. The decorations were amazing! The first night was for adults the second was the youths. Nathan and I had a lot of fun dancing the night away! I can't remember the last time I danced so much. We also had the privilege of chaperoning the youth dance, which we also put plenty of time in on the dance floor. I have to admit that my husband knows how to move me around the dance floor, and I LOVE IT!
