A day at the Ranch

We got to go to nothern Az. to visit my parents on their property. The drive was not to bad, two and a half hours of Owen asking me questions. We had surprise rain and hail while we were there. So the crafts were done inside. The kids did venture out into the mud. Ella steped to close to a cactus and her cusins carried her back. Owen picked a fight with the fire ants. I think they won. He didn't cry but he came over pulling at his pull up telling us the ants were bitting him. Sure enough, he had to be striped down to get them all off him. He ended up with 8 bites. We had a lot of fun, the kids loved the freedom of walking anywhere. The Ranch is 40 acres, with only cows and gazelles around. We all had a blast.
