I was able to get apples for a great price so my sister in law, Leann, and I made applesauce to can. We did 30lbs of granny smith apples. It was a blast. Not to hard, but time consuming.
After you cute and boil the apples for 30 min. you put them threw this, thanks mum, and out comes applesauce.
Then you cook it some more, and put it in your jars to cook some more. No photos of the Jars sorry. But it tastes wonderful! The kids love it. I can't wait for our trees to be big enough that I will can them.
While mom is slaving away in the kitchen the kids our playing in the water. It is hot here already. Nathan and I keep talking about getting a little pool, but we have not made up our minds yet on size and type.
The kids have fun in the buckets....but there has been a few spills an bonked noses.

Who needs a pool, those buckets look fun. Wish I had one big enough for me!
